After about a year of aging, the buttery grassy flavors of our younger cheddar give way to the delightfully acidic finish of our Sharp Cheddar. This cheese melts wonderfully and provides a robust flavor note in your favorite recipes.

Half pound pieces are available in vacuum-sealed packaging or wax. All other pieces are in wax only. Wax has been used to preserve the flavor and quality of cheese since before refrigeration and vacuum-seal technology were common. All our cheddar cheeses achieve their full flavor potential when brought up to room temperature by removing them from refrigeration a half hour to an hour before serving.
